Busy January....

After selling most of my shop "demo" boards in December, and taking a little break around the holidays, I'm back in the saddle again. The new year has started with a bang. I have eight new orders to complete before I leave for a 3-week vacation to Thailand. In the photo below are two of those orders in the lamination process.
That's my glasser, Ray Lucke, surveying the scene. There's a 9-0 Nova in the rack (2nd from the top) waiting its turn. Here's what it looked like straight off the machine.
I have two more blanks, a 9-3 and a 9-6 Nova, waiting to be picked up. The three Novas are headed for Ray's new Backnine Surf Shop, located next door to the factory. Lots of new and used boards to see and fondle.
And, just to stay sharp, I hand-shaped this 9-9 Nova with deep, half-length nose concave, beveled-rails and wing-nose. This is a new Nova design, influenced by my old Infinity "Rad Nose Rider", one of my favorite all-around LB shapes.

Also, in the wings are a couple of  EPS/Epoxy boards; a 7-3 Widget 5-fin and a 9-0 High-Performance Noserider.
